Peeku is free on the Mac App Store with private walk-away lock, walk reminders, eye-rest nudges, Desk Health, and local presence signals. Auto Lock is off by default and needs explicit Accessibility permission.
Open Peeku on your Mac, copy the pairing link from Peeku Settings, then on iPhone tap "Paste pairing link". On the same Wi‑Fi you can also pick your Mac and enter the 6‑digit code. No Mac yet? Tap "See a preview" to explore the app with sample data.
The Mac app uses the camera for local face presence and Bluetooth for Apple Watch proximity. Auto Lock also needs explicit Accessibility permission to post macOS’s standard Lock Screen shortcut. Nothing leaves your Mac. See Privacy and Trust for details.
Peeku for Mac runs on Apple Silicon Macs on macOS 14 or later. The companion needs iOS 18 or later. More at Compatibility.
Many questions have a step-by-step answer already written up. If Peeku is not locking when you walk away, see why your Mac is not locking automatically and how to fix it. If the screen locks while you are still working, see what to do when your Mac locks too fast. To set it up from scratch, follow how to set up walk-away lock in about two minutes. If you are deciding between the App Store and full-lock paths, use the Mac lock risk checker. Browse the full guides library.
