Know what Peeku sees, stores, and never sends.

The Mac and Windows editions use different signals. This page keeps the permissions and limits separate so you can decide before installing.

No account

Neither desktop edition needs signup, a subscription, or a cloud workspace.

Official stores

Peeku installs and updates through the Mac App Store or Microsoft Store.

Local history

Desk Health and reminder events stay on the computer where you work.

No manager dashboard

Peeku does not create an employer view, team scorecard, or remote presence log.

Mac permissions

Camera frames are analysed locally.

Mac uses Apple’s Vision framework for local presence, look-away, posture, and viewing-distance cues. Face images are not uploaded. Camera permission is required for those features. Bluetooth is optional and used only when Apple Watch proximity is enabled. Optional locking starts the macOS screen saver and does not need Accessibility permission.

Windows permissions

No camera or wearable access.

Windows provides reminders, Desk Health, and an optional keyboard-and-mouse inactivity lock. It does not use a camera, inspect keystroke content, detect calls, or claim to know when you physically leave the desk.
