Trust

Know what you are installing.

Peeku asks for sensitive permissions, so the download page should be blunt about permissions, signing, checksums, and compatibility.

Current beta status

Peeku 0.1.0 is an early direct-download beta. It is Developer ID signed, notarized by Apple, and stapled for Gatekeeper verification.

Checksum

DMG SHA-256: c5c3a0aea762f882b487b2a768a76b6cdc79444bec58c6de137128e0acc67ea6

Permissions

Camera permission is for local face presence. Bluetooth permission is for Apple Watch proximity. Peeku does not need Photos, Contacts, Calendar, Files, or Location.

App Store path

The App Store version should give users the strongest default trust path: Apple review, standard install flow, and clear permission prompts.

Before broad launch

The direct download is now Developer ID signed, hardened-runtime enabled, notarized by Apple, stapled, and distributed with a current checksum. The next step is App Store review and a fuller onboarding flow.
