Before you choose

The important differences.

Which edition should I install?

Install the Mac edition on a Mac and the Windows edition on a Windows PC. They are separate native desktop apps.

Does Windows detect when I physically walk away?

No. Windows can optionally lock after a chosen period of keyboard and mouse inactivity. It does not use a camera or claim physical walk-away detection.

Does Mac require Accessibility permission to lock?

No. The Mac App Store edition starts the macOS screen saver. With macOS set to require a password immediately after the screen saver begins, that locks the session.

Is Peeku Companion needed?

No. It is an optional iPhone and Apple Watch companion for the Mac edition. It is unrelated to Peeku for Windows.
